Event dvd finished!

Our event dvd finished just now, yeahh!!

I think this one is overall easier to edit (yes, I know I was saying this one is actaully harder to cut in the previous entry, and i know I'm a bit contratictory, lol) I did find it difficult to cut down guest speaker's speech at the beginning of hte editing, because most of the time they are reading from the notes they got in their hands, which is not soo visual steamulating and made the editing hard and jumpy.

But I kind of change my mind in the end because at least for this event, we've got the visual and audio's footage together, unlike our doco footage, which most of the footage audio and visual are saperated. (which we planned at the beginning and mean to film it in that way, but apparently we are wrong wrong wrong!)

I found that it's actaully more interesting to get both audio and visual together, it gives the visual more possibilities and easier to refer back to the person who's speaking. Before, I usually think that it's easy to imagine people's facial expression from their tone of speaking, but after the edit on the Stacey's story i guess it could have better effect and more influencial if the audience could actually see it when they hear it.

Therefore I'm actaully a bit regret that we didn't manage to get the shots when we recorded Stacey's audio first time because it will definitely made the story more intersting and attractive i think.
