Diane's comment of my concept

"What's your ending?"

"Mmmm...the ending is ...is there....its..when Tom saw April's 'home vedio' with another guy on youtube.." I said to myself in my mind.

"You have a opening, and you have a solid, concrete charater, but you don't have an ending. It seems like just cut off, right there"

"Mmmm..." "??"

"You have to get your story a ending." "End up the story, Joy!"

"Yes."

=======================================

To be honest, i wasn't sure what Diane means "no ending" at the begining. Because 'My Ending', which i thought that was my endng, and which i put in the end of the story doesn't seems to be a real ending for Diane.

Therefore, when she pointed out that, there were thousands of questions running in my mind,

"Didn't i have a ending?"

"umm.. i think i have a ending, so what did she mean i don't have a ending?"

"ummm...should i tell her that ..that is my ending, right there?"

"If thats not consider an ending, what should i add in after that ?"

"but i want to give the audience some space to think after the scene that april turns her head towards the camera, that's why i make it black out in the end and put on the text"

"Umm.. if it is not a ending, I have to think another ending then...um.... whats my ending..?"

After Diane's explaination, i finally understand that i should add in a real concrete/obvious ending, which subjective expresses my own idea of the whole story, so that audience would be able to grab the whole story.

Like what happend after Tom saw his girlfriend on yotube naked? Did Tom gets angry ? Will the break up with april?
Or he will pretend knowing nothing?

* A ending from my point of view.

Guess it would be better i thoroughly develope the charater's background and personality..etc before creating an ending, and then I shall be able to build up the whoe senario rationally. :)

Oh! got lots of stuff to do now!
