Editing is amazing!

Today i finally understand what is EDITING! ha!

I guess what I have done before are just really basic, like a starting of the editing. Lecturer and the dossiers always said that how to "move around the footages during the editing, move around different chunks, the order makes it different." I understand that, and i always think it will works in that way. However, until today, I finally get to taste the feeling of 'moving the chunks'.

Our story are divided into several parts, we planned for each parts and planned the structure. However, we got some surprise bits which is unexpected, or the overlapped/repetitive audio, and sometimes I found it a bit chaotic. Therefore I think from the first day I started the editing till today, I was spending most of the time on concluding and doing basic editing, putting things in order, and just try to make the story as flow as I can.

Suddenly and finally today I found out that 'woooww! I can easily move around each chunks!", which leads our story to different meaning and comes out with new and different idea/feeling.

I was so pleased! Because our footage were like felling apart, like puzzles before. What we have planned are sometimes confront with what we are actually doing, therefore which makes it harder for us to edit and to cut.

Feeling contented now, at least what I've been doing wasn't wasted at all! hehe!
