Finally, we are all agree to get students involved in our events as hosting as MC, which I've suggested on the Monday's group discussion. We were decided to wait for another week for the celebrity to reply because we were still hoping to get more celebrity to involved, and wanted to give it a try on getting the MC from the known/famous people.
In the tute today, David suggested that we should get the student to do the hosting as MC, rather than keep waiting, and also with the five MCs Gabby approached all replied and said that they unable to do the event within these few days. Therefore, we are aiming to get either one or a pair of students to be as MC.
There are two people are suitable in my mind but don't know if they will be willing to do it.
First person is the second year media student, Adrew Smith. I know him from last year broadcast media class. I was in the same tute with him, he always bring laughs around in the tute, and he seems have quite a humorous personality as well.
The second person is a second year PR students, I can;t remember his name, but happen to be in the same class with him couple of times this semester. He's a people person and with interesting personality as well. I'm trying to contact him through my friends doing second year PR now, hopefully he will be interesting with our event.
