Rough Cut screening

Today's rough cut screening was great! We got many feedbacks from the floors, and th suggestions are all detailed informed and useful because we are right at the point that needed outsiders to give us feedback.

I know our rough cut wasn't as good as others because we are really kind of stuck in the middle of the editing. Me and kim have been working on editing for quite a while already before the mid semester break started. We have been watching the footage almost everyday, which might be the reason that led us to this editing dilemma.

The most difficulty I found in the editing is that sometimes we don't have enough steady shot or the footage of Stacey 'not' talking, therefore which makes it harder for us to cut.

Many people suggested that the open eyes sequence can be switched to the beginning, which are considered better than the original one. The middle part need to do some more change, such as inter cut with some domestic shots of Stacey doing houseworks or making a cup of tea.

Before I was worry about intercuting with different shots too often might lead to the story too jumping, but seems to intercut with different shots can still keep the story simple and flow.
